MDRRMO San Jose conducts Rescue Olympics.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) of San Jose conducts a two day Rescue Skills Enhancement Exercise.
The Olympics was composed of various activities such as Team Building, Knot Tying, Bandaging, CPR, Vehicular Accident Extrication, Water Search and Rescue and Fire Fighting.
The activity aims to reinforce the emergency response skills of the Barangay Response Teams and develop team work provided by MDRRMC through MDRRMO. The activity also enhanced their problem solving skills an interpersonal relations for the improvement of their performances.




The Municipal Poverty Reduction Action Team (MPRAT) of San Jose conducted a meeting last July 25, 2016 at Liga Office, DILG, Jose, Antique.
The meeting was attended by Municipal Mayor Elmer Untaran of Municipality of San Jose together with the Civil Society Organization headed by Mr. Rodolfo Gentica and Local Government Officials.
The meeting focused on the updates of the current status of the Bottom Up Budgeting (BUB) project. 
The Municipal Mayor directed all focal persons to fast track their projects for the release of the funds and to conduct monthly meeting rather than quarterly for updates of the development of all BUB projects




The Municipal Agriculture Office of the Municipality of San Jose conducted a one day technical briefing on High Yielding Technology Adoption Program which was attended by 80 participants composed of presidents from various Farmers’ Associations in the municipality headed by Mr. Cecilio G. Campos together with Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation represented by Mr. Melvin Vego and Provincial Rural Based Coordinator, Novalyn Setias.
The program was formally opened by Mr. Rene Barte, OIC Municipal Agriculturist.
The program were enlightened by the Message from our Municipal Mayor of San Jose de Buenavista, Hon. Elmer C. Untaran and Vice Mayor Atty. Felix Saldajeno






LGU San Jose in coordination with the MSWDO of the Municipality of San Jose under the continuing National Program “Lugawang Pinoy” with almost 6 years of implementation already, distributed Rice to different Day Care Centers in the Municipality in lieu with the Feeding Program to ensure the good health of the preschoolers and the children around the center.
The program has a budget of 12.50 pesos per child (2.50 pesos is taken and directly paid to National Food Authority for the Rice purchase and 10.00 pesos is allotted for the viants; either pork or chicken; to be taken from the Municipal Treasurer in condition that, the Day Care worker must present at first the proposed menu and the latter will present the liquidation.
The municipality at present had the resources good for 80 feeding days.
We have distributed 276 sacks to 1,986 beneficiaries from 31 Day Care Center including National Child Development Center from 18 barangays in the Municipality of San Jose.

Elemer Untaran togther with SB Member, Hon. Dante Beriong, Chairman on Social Welfare gave their support to the senior citizens of the municipality. Ms. Gretchen Taleon, SWO II of Region VI presented the criteria for selecting an OSCA Head to the Senior Citizens"
